CV

Moving on from the business card, came the CV.

I thought it best to tie this in with my business card design. I even thought maybe it could include a paperclipped business card to it - or just for the visual style (as it is in this image) a layered effect to make it look like a business card is actually sitting on top.

Or possibly even (and what im leaning towards) is a business card paperclipped at the top, but when removed the printed version is still beneath it - just in case they lose the business card, but still have the cv for instance.

I kept the design simple, not displaying too much information. Obviously my CV would probably run on to 2 pages as references need to be displayed etc. The 2nd page could use the same format following the border like design. Possible additions could be a disc with some work on it, or even any written references I have.

  1. Hi Ryan,

I can't see any changes in your website design. Please be sure to include all the changes that week by week you do to it. Remember this will be one of the few ways I'll be able to mark your individual work. If I'm not wrong, last week, the Graphic Team was working to finish the final design of the logos to be able to hand them to your team and exhibition team. If that was the case, why you didn't add them to your website design?
Related to your CV and business card: Please be sure to make tests with different colour palettes and see what are the results. Don't just stay with one idea and assumed that is the one that will work. If you already made other options for your card and CV, be sure to put them in your blog so I can see and check all the process. If this is your final design, start working with reproduction specifications: pantone, dimensions and typo styles. See you in class.

  2. Hi Ryan,

    Any ideas for your portfolio?

Hope to see them really soon. Remember, you will need to include in your blog:

    Binding ideas (and images)
Work you will include (that also considers business card, CV and website or blog)
Name of the project, aim and description of each of them.

I haven't seen any decission making related to any of these topics. Be sure to include them as soon as you can because once you come back from holidays you will be busy with all the preparations of your exhibition.
    See you in class.
